Repomäki farm house is located on a hill in Tohmajärvi, North Carelia, just 10 km from the Russian border. It is awaiting you, your family, and friends alike to spend quality time and relax far from hustle and bustle from everyday obligations. Here you can admire the picturesque landscape, not to forget the breathtaking sunsets all the year around. Enjoy the space and quietness all by yourself or celebrate with your family and friends.

Repomäki Country House offers accommodation for eight persons in a one-family house.

The beautiful garden has fruit trees and flowers which attract butterflies. Feel free to pick fruit and berries in the garden. As an added bonus there is a loft attic with a dance floor for your party in one of the outbuildings.  

The house is fully furnished and has all the modern amenities. There is a washer and dryer, a cold-storage room and a freezer for your use as well. The kitchen has all you need to prepare a gourmet meal. Two of the bedrooms have a queen-size bed, the third bedroom has twin beds, and  the fourth bedroom has a pull-out sofa. Extra beds are available on a special request. There are blankets and linen available for ten persons.

There are two fire-places, one in the kitchen and the other in the living room creating a lovely atmosphere. The shower room has a Jacuzzi and the sauna has a wood-heated stove giving pleasant heat.

You can walk freely in the forest, pick berries and mushrooms if you like. There is plenty of wildlife and if you are lucky you may spot a fox, an elk or a hare on the field or in the forest.

You can take a 300 meter long hike to the top of hill Pykälävaara (143 meters above sea level) where you can find a place to sit down and make a camp fire. On top of the hill you can enjoy the beautiful views.

The river Jänisjoki is located just two kilometers away from the farm where you can fish, row a boat or paddle. There is a marked nature path along the river if you feel like exploring more. Lake Sääperi in Värtsilä, just 7 km away, is a well-known place for birdwatchers with more than 260 different species. Many rare birds have been spotted there such as Siberian snipe, icterine warbler, black kite, and spotted eagle just to name a few.
